Bring a large pot of water to a boil. While water is boiling, trim the ends of broccoli rabe. Once water is boiling, add broccoli rabe to water and cook for 2 to 3 minutes or until firm yet tender and bright green in color. Drain the broccoli rabe and dry the cooking pot.
Add 2 tbsp EVOO , garlic, and crushed red pepper flakes to pot and cook over medium heat. Cook until garlic is lightly golden, about 2 minutes.
Add the broccoli rabe back to the pot and add sat. Cook for 2 minutes longer.
